The cup's starting point was to create a lamp in which blown glass would be the protagonist of the product. From there, thousands of shapes and sketches were made until the final form was achieved. 

A play of opacities arise as a result of searching a poetic way to house the light. Two different glass finishes become a capsule within another. 

The creative process of Galva was carried out with the architect Ana Motta and supervised by the lamp designer Christophe Mathieu during 2022.
